It was my second stint as ALCUCOA (Association of Local Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation) Accreditor. The first one is for UMAK (University of Makati), then its TCU (Taguig City University). Both is for the accreditation of their I.T. courses offerings. First, it was a thrilling experience, having to be with the group of known, top-caliber educators, from all over the country. The main task was really technical, having to browse tones of documents, interview here and there, talk to the faculty and also the students, and visiting all the rooms and laboratories. But it was really a great opportunity to work and meet this people. Its some sort of a networking. At TCU, I have the chance to meet and talk to their President, Atty, Barbo (4th from the right), the former president of Philippine Normal University. He's really down to earth and with lots of coconut. He made mentions of his insights not only for the TCU but also for the entire education system of the country especially concerning the local colleges and universities. Also at TCU where I met in person Dr. Ofelia Carague (standing 4th from the right), the former president of PUP (Polytechnic University of the Philippines) where I graduated college and QCPU (Quezon City Polytechnic University). She's the current Dean of Business Management and Hospitality and Tourism Management. I was really stars struck when I met Dr. Carague, noting all her accomplishments in those universities and organizations she had handled. I was even asked to give my call card for her to contact me for future seminar talk for her department and other projects related to Information Technology. I was really impressed when talked about I.T. noting her age bracket. Also in the picture are Dr. Brawner, the VPAA and the former president of Pamantasan ng Marikina, Dr. Santos, Dean of Arts and Sciences and the former president of Unibersidad de Manila, Dr. Taringting, former president of CCM, Dr. Patriarca, VP Admin of UMAK, Dr. Villa, Dean of Education and the former VP of PUP and one of my co-accreditor, Dr. Montero, the president of Urdaneta City University.
